I am in Ohio and have never seen this bug in my flower garden before. They are small, with no wings, mostly black and some orange/red stripes on the lower part of the body. They are about a centimeter big and all over of the leaves of my rose of sharon.
Do you know what kind of bug this is?
Can you provide a photo ?
