How Can I Get An Allotment...?
Either contact your local council who will give you info about where your nearest allotment is and whether there are spaces (its become very popular) or visit your local allotment on a Sunday morning when the committee are usually around and the 'shop' open for business, they can give you the same info and show you around
Good luck
Reply:Go to your local council. they should be able to advice you.
I did have an allotment for a few years, but it became to much work - with children and a full time job, etc..
It only cost me £2.00 a year to keep 5 poles of land! well worth it.
We have a small veg patch in the garden now but I would defiantly have another allotment again when I retire.
Nothing tastes as good as your own grown veg!
Good luck

Reply:Your local council website. Using the search facility on the website, type in Allotment. You will find all the info you require. Some Councils have an online form to apply. There is probably a waiting list, and of course a yearly fee, which I believe is relatively small...
Reply:Try your local Council website, look under leisure. All relevant information should be there.
Reply:Good question cos the Council took mine away and when I went down to the cop station to complain they just said I lost the plot.
Reply:i think your local council coud help you out there
Reply:Go to your local council and get your name put on the list for allotments. But if youve already got a garden you may have a long wait. Try crop rotation and hanging baskets to fit a bit more in.
Reply:call up your local concil and they should be able to tell you? or if you already know of a site? go in and ask somebody there what they did?
