Empires Of Mesopotamia

TIMEEVENT

Circa 1800-1600 BCEBabylonia, created by Hammurabi, now was the center of attention for people from all over the world! Traders desire of coming here, religion and culture is very important here. Nobody could bother Babylonia, considering it had vicious warriors. But they didn’t use the warriors just for protection. They used it to attack other nations, and rich people. The Babylonians had no mercy on the victims they it preys on. It wasn’t hard to for Babylonians to attack. Considering they had some of the best weapons. But all of these wonderful porosities couldn’t last forever. In 1600 BCE the empire shrunk, and was never the exact same again.

Circa 665- 612 BCE The Babylonian Empire rises again, but it’s not being called that anymore, it now is known as The Assyrian Empire. They rise strong again with strong warriors and still preying on innocent victims. But they also had a new capitol, Nineveh. Nineveh was also known then as the city of learning. The Assyrian Empire was pretty much the same as The Babylonian Empire, after all that’s were it descended from. Again this empire couldn’t last forever. It lasted even less time than the Babylonian Empire, it fell in 612 BCE.

Circa 612- 539 BCEAfter the Assyrian Empire falling, the NEW Babylonian Empire rises soon after. The Empire rose under Chaldeans. With their new king: “Nebuchadnezzar II” things were better, because he was considered a great king. He even made a Palace known as The Hanging Gardens for his homesick wife. After all this was in a Desert, and her land was not like that. Once again the empire, in 534 BCE.
