Tattoo placment help please?

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Endless_kno...

the Tibetan symbol has been described as an ancient symbol representing the interweaving of the Spiritual Path, the flowing of Time and Movement within That Which is Eternal.

I would prefer to keep it on the smaller side and have considered a few spots where I would want it but im not positive where it would look best. I KNOW I dont want it on the back of my neck though.

As for meaning my mom named me after a Tibetan Buddhist temple "Sera Monastery". Sera also translates to "wild rose garden" in tibetian, so I would like it to be a natural/dark bark color with some interwining vines and blooms.

Tattoo placment help please?
I think on your wrist it might look nice, and it would fit since you want it to be small.

Don't get it on your lower back or it will look slutty.
Reply:Hi,

why don't you get a tibetan tattoo with it? the website www.tibetan-calligraphy.com is able to realize your own words in tibetan scripts in various patterns.

They have placed tattoos on the humerous, but also on the back of the leg ; another place usually used is also inside the arm, just into the inside part of the wist.
Reply:It's always hard deciding the WHERE part. Here's some suggestions on where I think it would look good:

inner wrist

ankle

shoulder blade

hip

upper arm

lower back

Hope this helps!
Reply:Your mom sounds cool the back of the neck looks good if its done right it can be quite tastful if its simple be prepared some people say it hurts a bit
Reply:Considering it is an endless knot of time and movement... Something that is meant to be eternal why not either on your chest above your heart or on your back behind your heart... Both are pretty easy spots to get tattooed, and make a statement. I've seen this tattoo many times on my ventures to tattoo shops and through going through flash portfolio's.

I think ultimately you should decide what will look good in 10, 20, 30, 40 and so on years. Where on your body do you feel you are willing to put this so that it can be a constant reminder of the eternity which guides your spiritual path... I have seen this on the backs of ankles and legs a symbolism of walking in your own path versus the path set before us by others.

Ultimately it's your choice but choose the right one :)

It's a nice tattoo and I think the coloring you want to do would be beautiful... I would use orange blossoms, I think they would be best...
Reply:That sounds BEAUTIFUL! Maybe the middle of your back?
Reply:well, if u have a good body, i would get it in between your shoulder blades or on one of em.

on the underside of yer wrist could work , too.
Reply:I am thinking, between the shoulder blades. Cheers!
