Is this a good tattoo idea?

Okay well I am part Tibetan on my moms sides so she named me Sera after the Sera Monastery which is a Buddhist monastery in Tibet (their religion) My mom isnt hard core Buddhist or anything but shes a really spiritual woman



Sera also means "wild rose garden" in Tibetan



So I was thinking of getting this symbol

except with thinner lines and a dark brown color, with light green vines wrapped around it with little red (or maybe pink) blooms?



Im also not sure where I would want it but i really like the idea because its very personal and relevant to my family and beliefs

Personally, I think it sounds good. I might have second thoughts about the vines and the blooms. The pattern you've chosen is very angular and striking and wrapping it with curvey vines might take away from the impact of the pattern....particularly if you get a small tattoo. One suggestion is to possibly consider putting a large rose behind the symbol....
