In the Beloved's rose garden of union, no thorn remains.
They say there is a window from one heart to another
How can there be a window where no wall remains?"

Does Love have this kind of power?
"The Unfathomable Effulgent Power of Love" is what is known as "Divine Completeness". All then that remains is, Duty.
"If someone asks you what there is to do, light the candle in their hand." ~ Rumi
"Peace be always with you."
Reply:May the love of duty enfold all of Gods children.

Reply:I love Indian women, the fair type.
Reply:Yes, if you know how to command it.
-----willrogers..: that's exactly what I'm talking about.
Reply:Love is amazingly powerful but it can't be controlled.
Reply:True love has such power.
It gives us elixir of health, pleasure without pain and an end to isolation.
Reply:Yes, love is powerful, it makes people do stupid things.
Reply:life attains perfection only if it absorbs love...without love there is no life left.
Reply:stillness, peace, love... all words for truth, beingness, self.
Reply:That kind of power?
absolutely
but I don't believe that love takes away "imperfections" such as the thorn or the illness or the wall....I believe that it crosses some (the wall for example ;])...that it makes others bearable (such as the illness) and that it makes others beautiful (such as the thorn, which might have been seen as a nuisance before).
? :]
Reply:Yes it does when two becomes one. Love makes one healthy and sees no evil in the other but only the precious which is good.
Reply:When reality is known as it is, love is all there is.
Reply:I like your style. I like Rumi, too. Too bad when we (Americans) think of Persians we think people like the ayatollahs or Ahmadinijad and not Rumi.
Reply:Love only has the power you allow it to have.
Reply:Remember, this extended quote also has a double meaning.
Our Lord will open a "window in time" for us to see our companion's (true colors).
The latter is stating that each individual is given an opportunity to understand one another for who they really are.
Sadly, love can blind very easily and cause us to overlook the latter or simply think we can change an individual with time.
However, rarely can we change anyone in reference to thier good or bad attributes.
The key to this mystery is that we are provided ample time to see the truth.
Furthermore, we can never blame another or use an excuse that we were never provided the vision to understand.
Only later in life will we come to realize a possible error that we made due to our pride, ego and/or failure to observe this "window of time".
Above all, use this small window that the Lord has designed, it is both authentic and true; during a courtship (pray) to see this gift.
God bless'
Reply:Love is the only power. It is the stuff we are made from. We live %26amp; breathe %26amp; have our being in it. All else is merely lack of or failure to love. The real trick is to know real love from the false love. Real love is undemanding, gives of itself because that is it's nature, is fearless, %26amp; totally open. False love has conditions, is possessive, %26amp; fearful. Real love will cause you to open up to be completely known, false love fears this. Real Love has no limits %26amp; loves all equally till all are a reflection of our Beloved.
Blessings!
