Bush says",i have never said we will stay the course," during interview with George stephanopoulos?

transcript: Stephanopoulos-James Baker says that he's looking for something between cut and run and stay the course.

Bush- well, hey, listen,"we've never been stay the course, George. We have been complete the mission, we will do our job, and help acheive the goal, but were constantly adjusting our tactics. constantly."

8/30/06 bush says we will stay te course to utah air national guard.

8/4/05 we will stay the course and complete the mission at his ranch in tx.

4/13/04 and my message today to those in iraq WE WILL STAY THE COURSE. at a press conf. in east room

4/16/04 that's why were going to stay the course in iraq, and that's why WHEN WE SAY SOMETHING IN IRAQ WERE GOING TO DO IT. said in rose garden with tony blair at press availability.

My question is this. Is Bush a flip flopper

Bush says",i have never said we will stay the course," during interview with George stephanopoulos?
When Bush is out of office( Thank God) and he is asked the question "how do you feel about the Iraq War now that you're no longer President(THANK GOD) He'll reply What War? I wasn't aware there was a war ..and he probably wasn't? based on his performance..Right now his disapproval rating is @ 80%..now how can anyone be in charge of anything with that kind of incompetency rating? SO BE IT...AMEN!!
Reply:No, he is not. There is no magic formula to end the violence in Iraq. The Bush government also doesn't have a specific formula for victory either. They just have been experimenting which strategy works in Iraq !!!
Reply:You've only listed a fraction of the times he has said "stay the course". of course he is a flip flopper, just look at the number of different reasons given to attack Iraq....
Reply:yes! but i knew that when i saw Jon Stewart do as sketch about how he said a lot of things while Governor of Texas then flip flops when he became president! i think the sketch was called Governor bush vs. president bush and i saw it once while surfing for Jon Stewart videos about president bush vs. Governor bush.
Reply:Bush reminds me of that old sitcom about a talking horse, Mr Ed.

In the production, they had to smear penut butter on this teeth to get him to " talk " . Bush is only a little more evolved. He says words but they don't ammount to much.
Reply:I don't think he knows what he has said from one minute to the next. (His "handlers" have to tell him what to say). Maybe it's all the blow and booze...

But I DO believe he will say whatever is expedient; that's the nature of a politician these days.

A-flippin' and a floppin'...............
Reply:YES AND GOOD QUESTION
