Where is the best spot in Phoenix, AZ to watch the sun rise?

I will be staying at the Hilton Garden Inn by the airport. Is there a spot near there to watch the sunrise?

Where is the best spot in Phoenix, AZ to watch the sun rise?
you can try on top of South Mountain or over of Piestewa Peak (Squaw Peak), any mountain top is good viewing. But, as the person above said, Phoenix is pretty flat, you can see from just about anywhere.
Reply:Squaw peak or piestea peak at 24th st and lincoln dr climb to top take water!!! kinda hard climb second place is drive to top of south mountain! nice up there!!!
Reply:Climb up either Piestewa Peak or Camelback Mountain for the best view. Dress warm and bring a headlamp. You'll also undoubtedly run across Ringtail Cats on top of Piestewa. They're friendly, don't worry, but don't pet em'!

Hands down this is the best way to watch the sunrise.

Or you could just drive up South Mt. form the southern end of Central Ave.
Reply:It's pretty flat here, So you can see the sunrise well anywhere.

Look up Papago Park it's very close to you, hurry though the sun is rising now!!1
Reply:Hole in the Rock at Papago Park
