Do you get spam text messages?

here's one i got:



"subject: Hey It's Pearl

msg: Red Hot stok UTEI, Watch UTEC Inc(nanotech play) go in coming weeks I never promised you a rose garden From aeiievs@clcomissaria. com.br"

can somebody explain how this happens, and why would people do this?

Do you get spam text messages?
I get them too! for a singles dating websight! Why?
Reply:i get sum msgs from an insurance company...

at 6 every morning... i get 6 messages!

thats pretty annoying!

Reply:Sometimes if you sign up to get those free ringtones, free 'horoscopes' and crap like that, you get put on a list and they send you all sorts of spam. Thats why I quit trying to get the free ringtones and stuff, its REALLY annoying!

i don't know where they come from , it must be just a random

call.
