I think that may be a little too funky for a romantic garden-inspired wedding. I suggest a dress in a more pastel shade like a pink, or a bright and poppy color like fushia.

For a handbag, I suggest a clutch. A regular bag would be too bulky to carry around, and would feel overdone, while a clutch feels subtle+you can still stash your compact in it.

Reply:It's a cute dress, but black isn't a color you should necessarily wear to wedding. But you can't wear white either, so as not to steal the brides color. But pick a color somewhere in between.

Reply:Yes! That is a really sexy, smart dress that is perfect for a wedding! Not too revealing so it classy, yet has a cute line that is way appropriate for summer. Also, the little bit of color makes is way cute for summer too. I usually reserve all black dresses for winter. I think that this is a great pick and I love the shoe. I can't believe that you found that at Target!!!



P.S. There is no rule about "not wearing black to a wedding", especially if it is in the evening and a little more formal. I like though that the dress that you are looking add does incorporate some color though so that while your outside, you don't look drab. Don't listen to people that say you shouldn't wear black.
