Real Estate Agents...Have you ever heard of this?

Is this tradition? My mom's real estate agent burried 2 Saint Joseph statues face down in the properties rose garden to get things moving on the house. I am from California and tend to hang out with some weird people but I have never heard of this. Do you bury charms or icons on the properties you are trying to move?

My first thought was, wouldn't a religious statue from any denomination be a little violated if you burried them face down in the dirt? Would that be considered a selfish act?

old catholic custom....yes face down to face the demons.

good luck :)
Reply:No..that is weird and not appropriate.
Reply:You bury Saint Joseph if you are Catholic. Upside down and facing away from the home. It is for good luck. Much like praying to Saint Anthony when you can't find the TV remote. Once your home is sold you dig him up and bury him again upside down so that you have good luck in your new home.
Reply:WEIRD for sure. I certainly learned something from your question. THANKS
Reply:I've heard of it, but I would RUN from "professional" Realtor who did something like that.
