How did you start your book.?

the book is about a rose in a garden with flower that mistreat it because of its unusual look. and they dont realize that he will become their savor until his time of death battling with the weed master.

How did you start your book.?
Sounds like you have your premise down.

Now take a look at each flower and the weedmaster.

What are the strengths, weakness, and goals each has. Will any change during the story?

A possible start is how the main character sees his world, then bring in the others, each trying to 'knock him down' so to speak.

Or, a typical day, what happenes? Does a seed drop in from elsewhere with horrifying stories of the weedmaster's devestation from somewhere else?

What makes the main character special, in that he will utilize his gifts to prevail?

Your premise mirrors Watership Down. Give it a browse for ideas on how the story was presented.

Good luck.
Reply:I assume the category is allegory.

Is it for children, or gift book, or literary novel?

I am guessing it is a children's allegorical tale.

Usually, start with a crisis in order to draw the reader in. Begin with action, but be sure to orient the reader to time and place very quickly, if not immediately
