Decorating a stone gazebo for a wedding ceremony?
Large white satin bows on the aisle chairs would be elegant as would rented, tall candlabras centered behind where you will stand. You could also consider tall candlesticks around the outside, circling, at equal distances for romantic lighting..
Reply:Well, my first impluse was to say draping white tulle~until I finished reading..LOL Since it is stone and you would like to really show it off, I think uplighting from the floor, along the walls would be beautiful! You can get the flood light holders very inexpensive, and then put in the color of the bulb that you chose. Just space them every so often on equal sides of your space, and sit them in/behind a nice potted plant and that will diffuse the light some, and create a very unique shadowing effect %26amp; romantic! You might also want to put covers on the chairs, maybe with a simple bow on the back of (some) of them. They can be rented. And the more candles the better! All different sizes, from votives to x-large~even sitting on the floor and then tier them up on different heights of holders~up in front where you will exchange vows. Don't totally give up on the tulle though..if it's done correctly~not over-done~ I think it would be gorgeous;) Best Wishes!!
Reply:I think I would use a perhaps smaller leaf ivy if possible , with the white lights and wrap the pillars ..leaving 8-10" between the rows as you wrap down the pillars.so that it is not gaudy but tactfully placed and elegant. Your already using lights so are you planning an evening wedding? The light would highlight the Gazebos features if was sparsely ran down even every other pillar..Sounds like a beautiful wedding! Congrats!
