What do you think of these names?

My daughter and son in law are expecting and I love thier name choices but wanted to know what you all thought. A little background info. Dad's name is Matthew (Matt). My daughter Hayley and Matt are being married in June in a beautiful rose garden.



They are thinking Mattilyn Rose or Mattie Rose for a girl



Dillon Thomas or Samuel Thomas for a boy.



McDaniel is the last name.

What do you think of these names?
I think Mattilyn Rose is a beautiful name, and I like Dillon Thomas better than Samuel, but they're both nice names. I wish you the best of luck, and congratulations!
Reply:Mattilyn Rose is pretty (I'm not partial to the spelling, but I understand that it is after the daddy), and Mattie Rose is cute for a nickname. As for the boy names, I love them both! I think I'm partial to Samuel Thomas, but Dillon Thomas (although I prefer the spelling Dylan) is great too. :o) Hope that helps! Take care!

I like how Mattilyn honors Matt, but it's very masculine looking. Plus, no one will ever spell it right, and it will cause so much hassle. She will constantly need to correct people. Have they considered Matilda or Mattea?



Samuel Thomas is incredibly handsome. I love Sam as a nickname.

Dillon Thomas for a boy. I don't like the shortened name, Sam, that's why I picked it but I like Dillon.

Samuel Thomas McDaniel sounds the best

and for the nick name u can just call him sam or sammy
