What are the names for white roses?
I have a great white rose called Iceberg, an apt name. My old great uncle used to grow it. It's been around a fair amount of time, so could be the one that your grandad grew. There are bush and climbing versions, and there's a photo here - http://www.mooseyscountrygarden.com/rose...

Hope this helps, and is the bush that your grandad had. Good luck! Rob
Reply:Iceberg is very popular and one of my favourite roses because its always reliable, i.e. always flowers well no matter what the weather.

Its not the whitest rose you will see but a bush in full bloom is beautiful.
Reply:here's a few available from Jackson %26amp; Perkins

Reply:John F. Kennedy, silk, ice, Blizzard, Icequeen, Bianca, Nova Zembla, Akita. These are some popular white rose varieties.
