I have a small veggie garden on my patio, it's in containers cuz I live in a hi-rise, and the harpies keep eating the vegetables. I tried to spray cat urine on the vegetables but they still eat it. How can I stop them from eating my veggies? By the way, I'm a real Vegan - I was born in Vegas.
Why do harpies attack my veggie garden?
Try this - combine a can of beer, 2 tablespoons of liquid dish soap, and a pinch of salt, and use a spray can to spray the mixture onto your veggies. Harpies are filthy and spread disease like rabies and Evian flu.
You can get a Centaur to guard your veggies but Centaurs can no longer be whipped or hit with a stick, because they have a union, unless you get an illegal one down at the docks (ask for Bobby he will get you an illegal one but bring CASH-ola). PS - Centaurs poop wherever they want, so get a diaper for himi if you get one.
Reply:Harpies, eh? I don't know why they chose your garden and not a vampire's foodstores. They hate vampires, you know.
Try using a fence made of different woods. I've heard that rowan works well.
Reply:well, since Harpies are legendary monsters from Greek myth who devour human beings and not plants, I doubt they are the ones trying to eat your vegetables (most likely rabbits or small birds, lol). However, if your garden is under attack from vegetarian harpies I suggest you hire a hero to combat and slay them just like in Greek myth! That or get a dog or cat to scare them away (my own dog does a good job of keeping wild animals out of the yard simply by being present, or barking at them as they appear)
Reply:I had a witchdoctor cast a spell on my veggie garden, and the harpies immediately turn away when they get too close!
Try it.
Reply:Harpies did'nt attack your veggie garden !
I did !!
And I will continue to do so !
As long as there are veggies, I shall continue to devour them all !!!
There is nothing you can do to stop me ! Nothing !!
Reply:Because they really like those radishes? -_-
Reply:Harpies are Vegan Vampires, now do you just want them to starve... have a little compassion...
Reply:I have never heard of harpies, however if you check take a leaf to your local nursery that can tell you what to use, and if it's safe. Most products used on vegetables are safe.
I had a slimy, worm like growth inside the leaves of my orange and lemon trees. It became worse as the days wore on. The nurseryman told me that it was a microscopic certain fly larvae and has hit all citrus fruits in southern California. Our weather this last summer was extremely hot. The only thing to do was to cut off the branches. It worked, and now it's colder there has not been any infestation.
Reply:try using indoor hydroponics..........you can grow all kinds of good "veggies"
