Trying to find poem about rose in shadow of garden wall.I read this after my husbands suicide.?

Since the shadow of death was etched upon a wall,

to stand witness as long as the wall stands, we have

learned how to keep this crematorium garden.

Our grass is green, our paths are clean, our roses seem

to flourish; so no one misses innocence, not

one of us mourns for Eden. We have made ourselves

at home in the place of destruction, in the face

of irreparable rents in the fabric, we find

we busy ourselves with small making and mending,

as often despoiling, and soiling earth's garment

here and there, always thinking: it will clean, Mother

will forgive us once again, once again. She turns,

oblivious in her great sleep, pain ingrained in

her harvests and parturitions, awaiting flames.

I ALSO JUST FOUND THIS ONE

Climbing up the path I step aside

Delighted by the fragrance of roses upon the garden wall.

He meets me at the gate;

Gives me welcome, and a cup.

I drink his wine,

And lose myself in drunken loving among the roses.



Asleep in two worlds,

No fear or pain,

Content where I am,

Until its time to climb again,



I cannot remain lingering between;

I tell him so; He smiles,

Pins a rose upon my breast,

Guides me back onto the path.

Now he joins me in my quest,

And fills my time

Increasing my capacity for wine.
